Shopping Extravaganza - SEE UPDATED INFORMATION BELOW 

When: Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Where: Outlets at Anthem, 4250 W Anthem Way, Anthem AZ 85086.
Cost: Only $15 per ticket.
Description: Tickets are available now! Event tickets includes: Exclusive Discounts & Activities; 3 Prize Scratch Cards; Enter-to-Win Prizes in Stores; Entertainment; $5 Lunch Coupon; and Chance to Win over $20,000 in Gift Cards and Prizes. Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Citizen Corps has once again partnered with the Daisy Mountain Firefighter Charities to sell 50 tickets. Payment can be either cash or check, (checks MUST BE PAYABLE TO: Daisy Mountain Firefighters Charities or similar). Flyers are available to help promote the event. behomes@q.com or 623-293-8628. The event has been modified for COVID precautions so you can participate comfortably. 100% of ticket sales benefit Daisy Mountain Firefighters Charities. Tickets are available online (service fee is additional) but on-line sales do not support Citizen Corps. We’re counting on everyone’s help in selling all 50 tickets. More tickets are available if needed.
Details are still incomplete but CERT will be staffing a display. Arrive by 9:00 am to assist with setup, the event runs from 10:00 am until 16:00. We will be done about 17:00. Wear your CERT uniform. We will probably be working out of a tent without the CERT trailer. Bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks or purchase there.

CPR Training
When: Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 6pm – 10pm
Where: Daisy Mountain Fire Station 141, 43814 N New River Road, New River, AZ 85087 (map)
Description: CPR and AED for the Community and Workplace, utilizing the American Safety and Health Institute curriculum and certified instructors. This class covers adult, child and infant CPR; adult, child and infant AED; and adult, child and infant choking. Class format is partially lecture and partially practical (hands-on). Completion of the course requires students to demonstrate proficiency on mannequins while on the floor and a short written test. Satisfactory completion of the course entitles you to a certificate valid for two years from date of completion. Registration is required. Space is limited (min: 8 students; max 25 students). The cost is $25 per student, due at the start of class, payable with exact change or check made payable to Daisy Mountain Fire Department, but is free to DMFD Citizen Corps Volunteers. NOTE: If you require CPR for the Healthcare Professional this is not the correct class for you.

First Aid Training

Description: First Aid for the Community and Workplace, utilizing the American Safety and Health Institute curriculum and certified instructors. This class covers treatment for a wide range of sudden injuries and sudden illnesses. Class format is partially lecture and partially practical (hands-on). Completion of the course requires students to demonstrate proficiency of skills presented in class and a short written test. Satisfactory completion of the course entitles you to a certificate valid for two years from date of completion. Registration is required. Space is limited (min: 8 students; max 25 students). The cost is $25 per student, due at the start of class, payable with exact change or check made payable to Daisy Mountain Fire Department, but is free to DMFD Citizen Corps Volunteers.

Citizen Fire Academy SUPPORT
